Meet the Mama

This blog was created in May of 2008 to chronicle the adventures of our growing family. We were married in September of that year and our family included two handsome young men.

In late December of 2009 we got what we had been waiting quite some time for.... a positive pregnancy test! Nine months later Yogi was born and he's been keeping us busy ever since.

In May of 2012 we will be meeting our newest addition who we are calling Monkey. We've had to say goodbye to our first boys (Baker and Gadget) to make room for the new ones, but we miss them both.

The Music City Mama is a Write-at-Home Mom who blogs through nap time and naps through action movies.  Married to a woman who was eager both to carry their children and their mortgage, she spends spare moments thanking her lucking stars and trying to get the dog to quit barking.  A psychologist by training, she’s traded data collection for truck collecting, journal articles for board books and mind control for …. well, mind control.  She loves ginger snaps, the Bravo network and the occasional rainy day.
